Matthew Raggett. Mr. Raggett is a veteran of the electronic design automation (EDA) and semiconductor industries and currently is a Managing Partner of ADAUS Ventures Inc. Prior to becoming a Managing Partner of ADAUS, Mr. Raggett served as the President and CEO of Analog Design Automation, which was acquired by Synopsys, Inc.
Mr. Raggett was also part of the management team that led Phoenix Technologies through a successful IPO (INSN) and later spun inSilicon, Corp. out of Phoenix Technologies where he held the position of Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations. inSilicon, Corp. was also acquired by Synopsys.
Mr. Raggett has held management positions at Cadence Design Systems, National Semiconductor, Fairchild Semiconductor, and ITT Telecommunications. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of several EDA companies including Javelin Design Automation, Inc. and Solido Design Automation, Corp. He holds a higher technical certificate in Electronic Engineering (BSEE) from Brighton Technical College, England.
Stephen W. Director, Ph.D., Provost Drexel University from 1977 to 1996, Dr. Director was with Carnegie Mellon University, where his positions included Dean of the College of Engineering and Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is a pioneer in the area of electronic design automation (EDA) and has received numerous awards for his research contributions. Dr. Director was elected Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) in 1978 and the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) in 1989. He is currently Chair of the NAE Committee on Engineering Education. He was a member of the Board of Directors of OrCAD, Inc. (OCAD), producers of PCB design software tools, prior to its purchase by CADENCE, Inc. and currently serves on the Boards of Directors and Scientific Advisory Boards of both established and small start-up companies. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and Master's of Science and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, all in electrical engineering.
Jim Klueber, Compunetix, Director of Engineering, PCB Design. Mr. Kluber has 20 years of experience in designing and developing hardware products, including 10 years designing printed circuit boards (PCBs). Mr. Kluber is responsible for all product development including supervising the entire PCB design team. He is also responsible for purchasing all PCB design tools.
Mike Wheeler, Corporate Vice President and General Manager of the Mechanical Division, ANSYS, Inc. ANSYS develops and globally markets engineering simulation software used by designers and engineers across a broad spectrum of industries, including aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, nuclear, electronics and biomedical. Mr. Wheeler was promoted from Vice President of Marketing to his current position. Mr. Wheeler brings more than 25 years of technology, marketing, and consulting-services management experience in the CAD/CAM/CAE arena, holding key leadership roles with top information technology organizations, such as Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), Rasna Corporation, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, and Swanson Analysis Systems, Inc. (SASI), the forerunner of what is today ANSYS, Inc. Mr. Wheeler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
